Gelato Meltdown 🍦

It was a hot summer day in Florence. I bought two giant scoops of gelato — pistachio and hazelnut — and was so proud of my choice that I decided to take a picture for Instagram.

As I held my cone up to get the perfect angle, the gelato started melting… faster than I expected. In a split second, it slipped off the cone and landed right on my face.

A group of teenagers nearby burst out laughing. The gelato vendor, seeing my tragedy, came over and gave me a fresh cone — free of charge.

Sometimes embarrassing moments have sweet endings.
